am i a grown up? part 1

so i've always felt a little older than most folks my age. don't ask me why, i just have. but really, when it comes down to it i still act like i'm in college. (aside from my body's inability to adjust large amounts of alcohol several times a week). i mean, i eat crappy dinners that i can make in two minutes, i still have to study (for work, but not everyday).

and i'm 30, just got engaged and have several friends who have multiple children and own houses.

i mean children and property don't always lead to adulthood. but i think my fear of and avoidance of knowledge about both of those topics is a good indication that i am still a little young for my age.

they do say that 30 is the new 20. and i'm going to go without--except when it comes to getting married. i am more than ready to tie the knot. a seal on a certainty.

gotta run. i will talk about this again. it's inevitable.
