i highly recommend it to anyone. it is funny and sad and realistic. quite enjoyable.
since then i've moved on to another fabulous john irving book "a widow for one year". john irving is brilliant! at least for "owen meany" and "widow". i was captured by both on the first page and could hardly stop reading them. i'm halgway through "widow" which is 400 pages and fabulous!
i will say i did not like "the world according to garp" or "the hotel new hampshire". but you can't fault the guy for a couple annoying stories when his others are so great!
reading is lovely!

i'll have to check out the irving book. you know, i didn't like "curious incident..." as much as everyone else i know. i think maybe it was too hyped up for me. :(
i just read "three junes" and really enjoyed it. :)
Totally agree with you on "curious incident..." It was quick and interesting read, but I just didn't react to it as positively as everyone else I know who read it.
