I am so cool that I am wearing my sunglasses right now. At 8 am on a Monday morning. That's right.
No, I'm not a movie star or anyone with a hangover. I'm not a vampire either.
I have the misfortune of suffering from "Iritis"
www.iritis.org
This all started Thursday night with a little soreness, a little redness and no pain. By Saturday night the redness hadn't changed and I had so much pain that I thought I might burn down the Ikea where P and I were standing in line to buy bookshelves. I couldn't even deal with a couch at the moment.
So Saturday lead to a quiet evening at the ER and the subsequent diagnosis of Iritis.
Today, sometime, I will see an opthomalogist. But until then I will take my pain killers, pupil paralyzers and steroids to calm my eye.
It is the pupil paralyzer that makes me so cool.
Yes, I am wearing sunglasses because my left pupil is about the size of a dime and without sunglasses the eye muscles spasm more and I get more pain.
All in all I'd rather not be so darn cool right now and be working with my gals. Not dealing with the sleepy side effects of vicadin.
