Last one . . . . maybe

The thing about tattoos is they are addictive.

I love tattoos. Not ALL tattoos, but meaningful ones that you really want to stay with you for the rest of your life. The ones that that truly say something about you.

I don't understand skull and crossbones, naked women and the various other odd things that people get. But perhaps somewhere in there they believe those symbolize something for them.

I got a new tattoo. It is now almost a week old and almost healed up! It is a 30th b-day gift from my sister. She is getting the same one on her shoulder ASAP. Unfortunately the tattoo artiste was late to our appointment and we couldn't both do it that day!

This is the Celtic Tree of Life. We chose it because A: it's beautiful and B: it symbolizes shelter, warmth and abundance. All things I get through my relationship with my sis and hope that I provide to her and strive to provide the rest of the world around me.

I can't wait for summer and skirts so I can show it off everyday.

We both have a tree of life now! :D (Albeit totally different trees!)

Congratulations on the new tattoo. The tree of life has been good to me. I'm still happy i have it, and like what it symbolizes. I hope it is equally rewarding for you.
