So I gave my notice today.
I have worked at my current job for five years (well, four years and 10 months). Needless to say it was a very difficult decision to make. I love my co-workers, enjoy my patients and am not unhappy there. But the new job (which I start at the end of june) is with a unique patient population, something we don't get enough of where I work. I had to jump on this opportunity. I had to.
I didn't sleep for three nights, could hardly talk to my co-workers the past couple days. I felt so guilty. SO GUILTY!
I wasn't even looking for a job, but the opportunity was there.
So there it is, my guilty yet excited confession about a new job.
Hurrah.

B!!!! I am soooo happy for you!!! I know how sad and guilty you must feel. I'd been there too... But, I'm really excited for you for this new opportunity. You will be great! I wanted to call you, but it's been sooooo crazy here... love you~
I've had the same guilt too. But it was worth it. I'm glad you're excited about this opportunity. Congratulations!
This is one of the hardest decisions to make. I think it is going to be a good growing experience for you.
Love,
Mom
