Me, that is.
I'm starting a fellowship in a couple weeks in medical ethics. I'm pumped! It's going to be so interesting and when all is said and done I should be able to do ethics consultations on my own. I will be a Clinical Ethicist. This is exciting.
I also LOVE writing papers. I know, I know. Who loves writing papers?
I do.
I love doing the research, sorting out my notecards and making some sense of all the information. Although these papers will be shorter, so maybe no notecards required. There's something pure and meditative about the process. It's like a workout for the brain, except each and every time you have a tangible item that you have produced.
I get to use the med school library and attend fun, free events I would otherwise not even know about. And I'm going to meet a bunch of cool people who do all sorts of things (cancer research, women's studies related to medicine, pediatrics and so on).
The instructors are well known in the ethics scene (at least in New England).
I am one excited nerd.
