There is a tremendous movie that I absolutely love called Let the Right One In. It's a Swedish Vampire movie. It is beautiful. Well acted, good scenery and cinematography. I also enjoyed the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the Girl who Played with Fire. Also Swedish, well acted and great book to movie adaptations.
Because these movies did well both in Sweden, but also in the United States, American filmmakers feel compelled to make their own versions. Rubbish. Rubbish I say. I will protest "Let me in" and the U.S. version of "The Girl . ." series. It's completely unnecessary to remake these movies, COMPLETELY! A quick buck and (I predict) watered down versions of truly great films.
Don't see these knock offs. See the original first.

LOVE "Let the Right One In." The preview for the American version makes me bitter.
