People make big deals about the weirdest things.
I was supposed to meet with three women from ESL volunteering group for which I volunteer. One woman is not good with computers (she's older, not concerened with learning much about them anyway) and did not every choose to "reply to all" in her messages. So she thought just she and I were meeting. She told me how to recognize her and I the same.
But the other women made no mention of how to recognize them and did not get the messages about how to recognize myself or the other woman. So instead of asking people around them if they were "B and B" they just sat and waited. B and myself tried asking a couple people around us if they were J and S but alas they were not.
Immediately when I got home from the coffee shop there was an e-mail from J about how she and S wasted about an hour with waiting and drive time to do this.
It was a simple mistake. Truly simple.
I can see that when you're older, have children and so on that time is precious. But J was really upset per the tone in her e-mail. And I haven't heard from her again.
Thank goodness!
