I say if Obama is assassinated we investigate the Clintons' first!
What an odd thing to say, notate, have on the mind. What? What? She said What? She's comparing this primary to a time of (relative) political unrest in which a primary candidate was murdered. But he wasn't murdered until JUNE so she must keep going just in case Obama is murdered before he is chosen as the Dem Presidential Candidate. She wouldn't want to miss her chance.
Because if by some chance that did happen they're going to hold the primaries over? Or would they just vote at the convention as they always do. It would just be a way more intense convention . . . .
I want to let it go, forget it. Think of it as a slip of the tongue . . . Everyone has these moments. But to have that particular thing even cross your mind at all seems a little more than a simple mistake.
I wonder if Hill is just testing the loyalty of her brood. The ones who will vote for an anti-abortion (which many see as anti-womens' rights) republican who wants to keep the war brewing, just to spite Obama. Ya know, because the media is so gender biased against women. Do these women even remember why they are democrats and not republicans?
I'm beginning to wonder how crazy I'll be when I'm going through menopause too . . . . (Now that's gender bias for ya!)

yeah, this was really disturbing, so i've decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. she was simply trying to make a point that primaries going to june wasn't that big of a deal. it's happened in the past, quite a few times actually. it does bother me still that she would think to bring '68 and bill, when there are others like '80 and '84, but still, the alternative is just too gruesome to even consider... i guess for many in that generation, '68 is such a shattering experience that perhaps that's why it's stuck in her mind, but even so, it's truly an amazing mistake for someone like hillary...
anyways, it is really sad that if this is what ends her campaign... what a monumentally sad way to exit...
hopefully, we'll see the end of this soon.
