Birthday!

OK, so I'm officially 32 now. Generally I don't celebrate my b-day too much. A simple dinner with P and/or friends. Simple. Seriously.

I've had a few memorable birthdays in the past though:

*The year I got my first dog "Paws"
*Wonderwoman cake
*Beach Barbie (a real Barbie) sitting on the beach cake
*Birthday where some boy from school kissed me and I was so embarrassed that I never talked to him again (I was in kindergarten)
*Suprise 16th B-day party a month early
*Surprise 30th B-day put together by P on my 30th!

*This year definitely fits in with my top 10! We had a "show and tell" party. Those who felt comfortable doing so prepared a performance or craft of some kind and shared it with the crowd.
There was Sangria, joke telling, poetry reading, monkey noises, performance "arts and crafts", a trumpet and flute duet and some rapping.

The best thing was that people really thought about what they did and really got in to it. And the crowd was receptive, supportive and very entertained.
