Movies

1) Tropic Thunder was HILARIOUS!  Despite what may have been offensive it was mostly ridiculous and mocking the ridiculousness of Hollywood.  Mocking actors who lose all sense of reality and reveal motivations beyond just artistic endeavor.  

I highly recommend it.  But it is not for the sensiitve folks.  It does go over the top at times.

2) The Devil and Daniel Johnston is a really interesting documentary about Daniel Johnston.  It is the story of an underdeveloped song writer who was notorious for his unique style and crazy behavior.  He had a brief period of time when he was really well known and is still legendary in some circles.  

Good stuff if you like documentaries and/or music.  

3) Sideways--finally saw this.  It was OK.  The main characters are kind of pitiful.  But the acting was good, scenery beautiful.  And if you really listen you can learn a lot about wine.
