Memories

For those of you who don't know-P and I met in college.  We were in a band together.  A super college band--poetry and music.  I mean, super college, too artsy for itself kinda band.  It was awesome!  The drummer from that band lives in Boston, in fact, he's marrying P's cousin.  :) He had all this VHS footage from one of our shows and for P's birthday he put that footage on DVD.

It is wild to see yourself 12 years ago on stage.  Young, idealistic.  Surprisingly I was drinking water not beer!  Maybe I was still 20 at the time.  Who knows.  I personally think I look almost the same--plus a few pounds.  P looks a lot younger, bad hair and wearing a turtleneck.  Oh boy!  It's the first time I've been able to watch or hear any of that old band stuff without feeling completely embarrassed.  

It was a blast and I am so glad for every minute of it.  Thanks S for bringing back some good memories.  LampHamperSocketBLATT lives on in our hearts!
