In my absence

I have not even looked or thought about my blog for quite some time now.

at least it feels like a long time.

besides, i think my friend karyn is the only person who reads this anyway!

so what has happened since my last entry?

i am finally starting to get excited about my wedding. now the planning is fun and not burdensome. the guest list is finalized (mostly) and the "save the dates" have made their way into many of our guests mailboxes.

i found my sister's bridesmaid dress, chose our invitations (with p's assistance), got my slip. and made some more tenative plans for bachelorette parties and so on.

we have even started the miserable process of registration. if we could register for other stuff we REALLY WANT (like a laptop computer, new couch and coffee table, king size bed and all the accessories) we would be all set. there are some things that we actually NEED and some things we don't need that we registered for anyway. here's hoping for the stainless steel spatulas, salad tongs and spice rack!
